I like tea

I just thought I'd put up a general journal before I leave (in 2 weeks).

The likelihood of any updates before I'm gone is very small and, after that, until I get back in December I won't have a scanner, so nothing new. I will, hopefully, be working, however. I have a bunch of ideas floating around and I'm taking my paints to school.

I found the originals of "Like Winter" and "La Femme Et Le Chat" today when I was cleaning up and it gave be a boost of confidence. It has often been noted that this page sees a surprisingly small number of people and the few times I have entered competitions, I haven't even placed. But, looking at my art up close and with the memory of creating it far enough in the past that I've removed myself from it, I remember that I am actually good and that I do like what I put out. If anything is to blame for the lack of attention paid to me, it is my scanning abilities and, perhaps my online social skills. But I'm sure, now, it isn't my talent or skill.

I will still be checking DA daily, so I won't be gone.
